St. Veronica feast day, July 12th, patron of photographers and film makers.
 
This depiction of Veronia is inspired by a friend and dear member of my parish community who died unexectedly during Lent in 2022. As a young woman Kimbely portrayed Veronica in our parish's first high school presentation of our annual living stations, "Passion Mime". The Veronica's cloth prop, still used today 37 years later, was created by Kimberly. As Director of Youth Ministery I am in charge of overseeing the annual Passion Mime. For the past 10 years Kimberly assisted me in overseeing and directing our current high school youth in this Lenten presentation. We were in the middle of our 7 week rehearsal period when we suddenly lost Kimberly in March of 2022.
 
Upon desiging this magnet I learned that Veronica is the patron of photographers and film makers. Kimberly, like myself, studied photography and filmmaking in college and in her adult life purused involvement in both amatuer and professional projects. 
 
Kimberly's memory and projects leave behind a legacy of creativity, kindness, and generousity. She is greatly missed.
